Public Services - Appointment of candidates from Police Boys Hostels in
Police Department - Orders - Issued.
In the letters read above, the Director General of
Police, Hyderabad has stated that the dependents of the deceased Government
servants can be appointed to certain posts in Government Services without the
medium of the employment exchange. if they apply within a period of one year
from the date of death of the Government servants. The member of Police Boys
Hostels who are the orphaned children of the deceased Police personnel cannot
avail of this concession as they will be studying in schools after the death of
their parents without attaining majority or acquiring the minimum age, general
educational qualifications. By the time they attain majority and complete, they
will not be eligible to apply for appointment in Government service within the
time limit prescribed in G.O.Ms.No.687, General Administration (Services-A)
Department, dated 3-10-1977. Hence the
Director General of Police has requested the Government to exempt from the
employment exchange rules in favour of the candidates who were the members of
the Police Boys Hostel in the State in order to sec that the families of the
deceased Police Personnel are rehabilitated.
