ORDER:
In
the G.Os read above, orders have been issued setting up a High Level Committee
for Periodical Review of activities of Anti-Corruption Agencies of Government.
2. In the State Level Workshop on Good
Governance and Performance Indicators held on 16th and 17th May 2002
at Dr. MCR HRD Institute of A.P. Hyderabad, the following recommendation has
been accepted, among others: Head of Office shall be made responsible for
vigilance activities of the establishment, and he shall personally review
vigilance matters and dispose off cases within fixed time frame.
3. Government have accepted the above
recommendation and accordingly direct as follows: The Head of the Secretariat
Department/Head of the office will be responsible for vigilance activities of
his establishment. He shall personally review the vigilance matters and dispose
off cases within fixed timeframe.
4. The Special Chief Secretary / Principal
Secretary / Secretary to Government of each Secretariat Department, shall
review the matters relating to para-3 above, once in a fortnight and see that
the above cases shall be disposed off within the fixed time frame.
