In
the G.O. second read above, an amendment was issued to sub rule (23) of rule 20of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal Rules,1991 to enable the Enquiry Officer to recommend the penalty proposed to be
imposed on the delinquent officer, keeping in view the rule 9 of the saidrules.
2. The Government after careful examination
of the matter, have decided to omit the said item from the provisions of the
Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991
issued in G.O.Ms.No.229, G.A. (Ser.C) Department, dt.22.05.2002 with immediate
effect.
3. Accordingly, the following notification
will be published in the Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette; dated........
November 2002.
NOTIFICATION
In
exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso, to article 309 of the
Constitution of India, and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor
of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh
Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991 issued in
G.O.Ms.No.487, General Administration (Services.C) Department, dated the 14th
September, 1992 and published in Part-I, No.235, Extraordinary issue of the
Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated the 1st July, 1992 as subsequently
amended from time to time.
AMENDMENT
In
the said rules, in rule 20, in sub rule (23), in clause (i), item (e) shall be
omitted.
