ORDER:
The following Notification will be notified in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette. NO TIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, hereby makes the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat Subordinate Service Rules. 1997 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 455, G.A. (Ser.B) Department, dated the 31st October, 1997.
AMENDMENT
In the said rules, in the Annexure under the heading "Class-B" (other posts):
(a) against "Category-5 Senior Steno" for the entries in column (3), the following shall be substituted, namely
"(l) Must hold a Bachelor's Degree of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualifications and
(2) (a) Pass in Typewriting and Shorthand Higher in English, and (b) Pass in Typewriting and Shorthand Lower Grade in Telugu".
(b) against "Category-6, Junior Steno" for the entries in column (3) the following shall be substituted, namely"
(1) Must hold a Bachelor's Degree of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or by any institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification; and
(2) (a) Pass in Typewriting and Shorthand Lower Grade in Telugu, and (b) Pass in Typewriting and Shorthand Lower Grade in English."
