ORDER:
As per Rule 8(iii) of the Andhra Pradesh Registration Subordinate Service Rules issued in the reference 1st read above, every Sub Registrar Grade-II recruited by direct recruitment shall pass second Language Test i.e., Full Test in a language other than that taken for S.S.L.C., University or other Public Examination as may be prescribed by the Inspector General of Registration and Stamps besides Telugu prescribed in General Rule 13(a). The candidates must pass the said test within their period of probation, failing which the probation period will be extended.
2. The Commissioner and Inspector General of Registration and Stamps, A.P, Hyderabad in his letter 2nd read above has submitted the proposals stating some administrative matters to exempt the 66 direct recruit Sub Registrars Grade-II who were selected through APPSC vide notification No. 32/2007 and appointed in the month of October 2009 from passing the second language test prescribed under Rule 8(iii) of the A.P. Registration Subordinate Service Rules, 1983.
3. Government after careful examination of the proposal of the Commissioner and Inspector General of Registration and Stamps, A.P., Hyderabad hereby accord exemption from passing the Second Language Test prescribed under A.P. Registration Subordinate Service Rules in favour of (66) direct recruit Sub Registrars Grade-II indicated in the Annexure to this order to enable them to complete probation, if otherwise eligible as per rules.
4. The Commissioner and Inspector General of Registration and Stamps, A.P., Hyderabad shall take necessary further action accordingly.
