O R D E R:
In the
G.O. 3rd read above, orders have been issued prescribing suitable safeguards
and procedure in order to have greater scrutiny of all the proposals relating
to compassionate appointments due to Medical Invalidation and to prevent abuse
of the scheme, duly constituting, among other things, a state Level Committee
of Officers under the chairmanship of a special Chief Secretary to Government,
to be nominated by the Government, for scrutiny of the proposals relating to
compassionate appointments on Medical Invalidation and for making its recommendations
in the matter.
2. In the G.O. 2nd read above, Sri V.
Anandarau, I.AS., the then Special Chief Secretary to Government, Transport,
Roads and Buildings Department has been nominated as the Chairman of the
aforesaid State Level Committee of Officers.
3. Consequent on the appointment of Sri V.
Anandarau, I.AS., as Chief Secretary to Government and in modification of the
orders issued in the G.O. 2nd read above, Government hereby
nominated Dr. C.S. Rangachari, I.AS., Special Chief Secretary to Government,
Energy, Forests, Science and Technology Department as the Chairman of the State
Level Committee of Officers constituted in the G.O. 3rd read above.
