Sub: Public Services - Exemption from passing Departmental Test / Special Tests by employees who crossed 45 years of age - Issue of clarification - Regarding.

The attention of the Director of Health is invited to the references cited and he is informed that as per the orders issued in the G.O. first cited, the employees who crossed 45 years are eligible, who are otherwise qualified for promotion, subject to the following conditions, as specified in Memo 2^nd cited: -

(i) The above exemption is applicable only lo those employees who appeared the Tests prescribed but could not pass the test.

 

(ii) The exemption is not available from passing the Departmental test by a probationer.

 

(iii) The exemption is only for one promotion and not for second promotion.

 

(iv) Separate orders have to be issued exempting from Passing the Tests.

2. The Director of Health is requested to take necessary action accordingly.
