PUBLIC SERVICES - State and Subordinate Services - Direct recruitment to
various categories - Further Process to be stopped due to Lok Sabha elections -
Regarding.
Various recruiting agencies in the State have already commenced the process of Selection of candidates for filling up of vacancies in the various Departments, and the dates of written examinations have also been announced. In certain cases, written examinations were already over, and the papers are being valued at to be valued. In certain cases, written examination is over and oral interviews are being conducted/yet to be conducted.
In the light of the announcement of the Schedule for
the ensuing Lok Sabha elections and certain assembly constituencies in Andhra
Pradesh by the Election commission of India, the Government have reviewed the
above matter of recruitment keeping in view of the model code of conduct and it
has been decided by the Government that all the recruiting agencies of various
Government departments shall take immediate action, as follows: -
(1)
Where Written examinations are yet to be conducted and dates of such examinations
not yet announced, they may be stopped until further orders.
(2)
Where written examination date was published anu examination is yet to take
place, those examinations may he conducted as per Schedule.
(3)
Whether written examinations are held, the valuation or the papers he stopped and
if any papers are being valued, the valuation of rest of the papers
concluded and announcement or results be withheld.
(4)
Whether written examinations are to be conducted, on the scheduled dates as already
notified, the examination he conducted and valuation or the papers be stopped
anu the answer scripts be scaled, and such scaled covers be kept in the
Treasury for safe custody: and
(5) Where oral interviews arc yet it he commenced. they may be postponed till the process or Election is completed and where interviews were already over deferred till the elections arc completed.
The above int ructions shall also apply equally for the examinations (both written and oral) conducted / being conduct cu for recruit merit or backlog Vacancies or Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes until further orders.
All the departments or Secretariat are requested to
issue instructions in turn to all the recruiting a6encics under ti1eir
administrative control accordingly to follow the above instruction scrupulously,
and they should nut issue Appointment orders until further orders.
