given by the All-India State Government Employees Federation - Treating the
absence of the Employees, Teachers and Workers of Andhra Pradesh on 7-9-2010 in
connection with the one-day strike as Special Casual Leave - Accorded - Orders
- Issued.

ORDER:
In
the letter 1st read above, the Joint Action Committee of Employees, Teachers and Workers of Andhra
Pradesh, have informed that according to
the decision of the Convention of Central Trade Unions and Federations held at New Delhi on
15-7-2010 and as endorsed by the All
India State Government Employees' Federation, the State Government Employees and Teachers including
the State PSU Employees, Panchayat and
Board / Corporation Employees will observe
one day strike on 7-9-2010 along with other sections of working
class against the policies and practices
of Central and State Governments.
2. In the circular
memorandum 2nd read above, instructions were issued to all the
Departments of Secretariat / Heads of Departments / District Collectors, to
adopt the Government policy of "No Work - No Pay" strictly and not to
sanction any leave to the Government Employees / Teachers / Workers etc., who
request for sanction of leave for participation in the strike on 7-9-2010.
3. In the letter 3rd
read above, the Joint Action Committee of Employees, Teachers, Workers and
Pensioners of Andhra Pradesh, have informed that as per the call given by the All-India
State Government Employees Federation, Kolkata on 4-8-2010, all sections of
Employees, Teachers and Workers in Government and Public Sector Undertakings
have observed one day country-wide token strike on 7-9-2010. As per their
knowledge, only about 50% of the work force has participated in the said strike
on 7-9-2010 peacefully, no untoward incidents took place and business in administration
has not been paralyzed on that day. Hence, they have requested the Government
to kindly issue necessary orders for treating the above one day strike period
as Special Casual Leave to those Employees, Teachers and Workers, who
participated in one day strike on 7-9-2010.
4. The Government, after
careful examination of the matter, hereby direct the authorities concerned to
treat the absence of the Employees, Teachers and Workers on 7-9-2010 in
connection with one day strike, as Special Casual Leave.
5. All the Departments
of Secretariat / Heads of Departments / District Collectors shall take
necessary action accordingly.
