The decennial
population Census is being conducted in the country for "Census of India;
2001 and large number of Senior Officers are appointed as Census Officers besides
thousands of Supervisors and Enumerators appointed for this comprehensive and
gigantic task of National importance. This huge contingent of staff are
expected to discharge their duties with devotion, sincerity, honesty and
responsibility.
The
appreciable work done by the Officers and Officials and Teaching Staff should
be mentioned in their Confidential Reports (ACRs) for the year 2000-2001. Similarly,
the negligence and carelessness in this regard should also be mentioned in
their A.C.R.
The
Departments of Secretariat, Heads of Departments and District Collectors are
requested to bring these instructions to the notice of all concerned for
compliance.
