ORDER:
In the
letter 1st read above, the Joint Action Committee of Employees,
Teachers and Workers of Andhra Pradesh, have informed that the discussions held
with the Group of Ministers have caused disappointment to them, as the Group of
Ministers have not settled none of their demands and they have met on 14-7-2010
and reviewed the situation and felt that the Government is not serious about
the settlement of pending demands. Hence, they have unanimously resolved to go
for agitation programme of "Chalo Hyderabad on 23-11-2010" among
others for achieving their pending demands.
2. In the circular memorandum 2nd read
above, instructions were issued to all the Departments of Secretariat / Heads
of Departments / District Collectors, to take appropriate action in the matter
and monitor the attendance of the employees under their control on 23-11-2010.
3. In the letter 3rd read above, the
Joint Action Committee of Employees, Teachers, Workers and Pensioners of Andhra
Pradesh, have informed that as per the call given by the JAC, all sections of
Employees, Teachers and Workers in Government and Public Sector Undertakings
have participated in "Chalo Hyderabad Programme" on 23-11-2010 by
applying mass casual leave and no untoward incidents took place and business in
administration has not been paralyzed on that day. Hence, they have requested
the Government to issue necessary orders for treating the absence of the
Employees, Teachers and Workers on 23-11-2010 in connection with "Chalo
Hyderabad Programme" as Special Casual Leave.
4. The Government, after careful
examination of the matter, hereby direct the authorities concerned to treat the
absence of the Employees, Teachers and Workers on 23-11-2010 in connection with
"Chalo Hyderabad Programme, as Special Casual Leave.
5. All the Departments of Secretariat/
Heads of Departments / District Collectors shall take necessary action
accordingly.
