The following Notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1991 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 487 Genl. Admn. (Ser. C) Department, dated 14th September, 1992 and published in Part.I, No.235, Extraordinary of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated the 1st July 1992 and as subsequently amended from time to time.
AMENDMENTS
In
the said rules:
1. In clause (g) of Rule 2, for the expression, “clauses
(vi) to (ix)”, the expression, “Clauses (iv) to (x)”, shall be substituted;
2. In
Rule 9:
(a) for clause
(iv) under the heading “Minor Penalties” the following shall be substituted;
namely:
“(iv) withholding
of increments of pay without cumulative effect”;
(b) under the
heading “Major Penalties”, the clauses (vi) (vii) (viii) and (ix) shall be
renumbered as items. (vii), (viii), (ix) and (x) respectively and after those
clauses as so numbered, the following item shall be inserted immediately under
the heading “Major Penalties”, namely:
“(vi) Withholding
of increments of pay with cumulative effect,”
(c) In the first
proviso; for the expression “Clause, (viii) or clause (ix)” the expression, “clause
(ix) or clause (x)” shall be substituted;
3. In
rule 11:
(a) In sub-rule
(l) for the expression “clauses (i) to (vi)”, the expression “clauses (i) to
(vii)” shall be substituted;
(b) In clause (i)
of sub-rule (18), for the expression “clauses (i) to (vi)”, the expression
''clauses (i) to (vii)" shall be substituted;
(c) In clause (b)
of sub-rule (20), for the expression “clauses (i) to (vi)”, the expression “Clauses
(i) to (vii)” shall be substituted;
(d) In clause (b)
of sub-rule (21), for the expression “clauses (i) to (vi)”, the expression “Clauses
(i) to (vii)” shall be substituted;
(e) In clause (ii)
of sub-rule (27), for the expression “clauses (i) to (vii)”, the expression “Clauses
(i) to (viii)” shall be substituted;
4. In sub-Rule (2)
of rule 14 for the expression “clauses (ii), (v) to (ix),” the expression “clauses
(ii) (v) to (x)” shall be substituted;
5. In sub-rule (2)
of Rule 19, for the expression, “Clauses (vi) to (ix) of Rule 9”, the
expression, “clauses (vi) to (x) of Rule 9” shall be substituted;
(a) In sub-rule (l), for the expression “clauses
(vi) to (ix) of rule 9”, to the expression “clauses (vi) to (x) of Rule 9”,
shall be substituted;
(b) In Clause (a) of sub-rule (21), for
the expression “clauses (iv) to (x) of Rule 9”, occurring at two places, the
expression “clauses (vi) to (x) of Rule 9” shall be substituted;
7. In sub-Rule (4)
of Rule 21, for the expression, “clauses (vi) to (ix) of Rule 9”, the
expression “clauses (vi) to (x) of Rule 9” shall be substituted.
8. In sub-Rule (2)
of Rule 22, the words, “or to withhold increments of pay with cumulative effect
for any period" shall be omitted.
9. In sub-rule (2)
of Rule 26, for the expression, “clauses (vi) to (ix) of Rule 9”, the
expression “clauses (vii) to (x) of Rule 9” shall be substituted.
(a) In clause (ii) of sub-rule (2), for
the expression “clauses (vi) to (ix) of Rule 9”, to the expression
"clauses (vi) to (x) of Rule 9" shall be substituted;
(b) In Clause (ii) of sub-rule (4), for
the expression “clauses (iv) to (ix) of Rule 9” the expression "clauses
(vi) to (x) of Rule 9" shall be substituted;
11. In clause (ii)
of sub-rule (2) of Rule 31, for the expression “clauses (vi) to (ix) of Rule 9”
to the expression “clauses (vi) to (x) of Rule 9” shall be substituted:
12. In clauses
(ii) & (iii) of the proviso to sub-rule (2) of Rule 37, for the expression “clauses
(vi) to (ix) of Rule 9”, the expression “clauses (vi) to (x) of Rule 9” shall
be substituted;
13. In column (8)
in Appendix III of the said rules, the wording 9(vi) shall be substituted as 9
(vii).
14. In column (9)
in Appendix III of the said rules, the wording 9(vii), (viii), (ix) shall be
substituted as 9(viii), (ix) (x).
15. In column (6)
in Appendix IV of the said rules, the wording 9(vi) shall be substituted as
9(vii).
16. In column (7) in Appendix IV of the said rules, the wording 9(vii) (viii) (ix) shall be substituted as 9(viii), (ix) (x).
