ORDER:
In
the Government Order 1st read above, the retiring Government servants were
allowed encashment of earned leave up to a maximum of 120 days with effect from
1-6-1975. The above benefit was subsequently extended to the following
categories of employees in the Government Orders 2nd to 5th read above.
1. Those retiring
under pre-mature Retirement Rules issued during 1975.
2. Those retiring
on Invalid Pension.
3. Those retiring
on Compensation Pension.
4. Those
compulsorily retired as a measure of punishment under the A.P. Civil Services
(CCA) Rules.
5. Persons
re-employed without any gap after their normal retirement.
6. Those retiring
voluntarily.
Since
the maximum limit of encashment of earned leave standing to the credit of
Government servant on the date of retirement was enhanced from 120 days to 180
days in the Government Order 5th read above, Government have, after
careful consideration of the issue decided that the maximum limit of 180 days
shall be applicable to all categories of employees mentioned above with effect
from 30-11-1977, the date of issue of G.O. Ms. No. 415, Finance and Planning
(Finance wing FR. I) Department fifth read above.
