Read the following: -

ORDER:
In the Government Order 1st cited, orders have been issued simplifying the procedure for calculating the entitlement of Earned Leave to the State Government employees working in non- vacation departments. The Accountant General in his letter 2nd read above, has stated that the said orders are not specific as to the maximum accumulation of leave and the monthly rate of earning capacity to the emergency employees in superior service and last grade employees with less than 15 years of regular service.
 
2. After careful consideration of the above aspects, the following amendments are issued to the Government Order 1st cited.
 
AMENDMENT
After the words "maximum limit of 180 days" occurring at the end of para 1 (ii) of the Government Order cited add the following: -
 
"in respect of regular Government employees in superior service and regular last grade employees with more than 15 years" service or permanent last grade employees.

 

"in respect of others, the limit of accumulation would be as follows.

 

i)

Last Grade Government servants with less than 15 years of regular service

 

:

50 days

ii)
Emergency Government servants in Inferior / Superior
:
30 days
 
The existing para 2 may be read as para 2(a) and the following sub-para may be added as para 2(b):
 
"PARA 2(b): In respect of an emergency employee in superior service and a last grade employee having less than 15 years of regular service, earned leave should be credited at the rate of one day for each completed month of service for the first 2 months in a quarter and 2 days for the 3rd month and so on for each completed month of service he is likely to render in the calendar half year in which he is appointed e.g., if he is appointed on 13th March the number of complete months of his service in that half year will be 3 and credit will be 4 days i.e., at the rate of 1 day credit for the first two months and 2 days credit for the 3rd month. If he is appointed on 20th January, the number of complete months will be 5 and the credit will be as follows:
