ORDER:

The Following notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette:

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the AndhraPradesh State and Sub-ordinate Service Rules 1996 issued in G.O.Ms.No.436, General Administration (Services-D) Depa1tment, dated the 15th October, 1996 and published in Part-I Extra-Ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.34, dated the 27th January, 1997.

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, for the first proviso to clause (iii) of sub-rule (a) of rule 30, the following proviso shall be substituted namely:

Provided that the resignation of a Member of a Service shall not be accepted against whom disciplinary proceedings are instituted as per the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules. 1991 or investigation, inquiry or trial is initiated".
