ORDER:
 
In the orders read above, the leave rules were liberalised along with the retiring Government servants to encash the Privilege Leave/Earned Leave standing to their credit on the date of retirement. Government have considered the question of further liberalisation of the leave rules and accordingly order as follows: -

 i) The maximum limit of availment of Earned Leave preparatory to retirement shall be enhanced from 120 days to 180 days in respect of Government servants, governed by A.P.L.Rs. 1933.

 

ii) The maximum limit of encashment of Privilege Leave / Earned Leave at the credit of a Government servant on the date or retirement, shall be enhanced from 120 days to 180 days.

 

2. These orders shall come into force with immediate effect.
