ORDER:

The following notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette:

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, and all other powers hereunto enabling the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh State and Sub-ordinate Service Rules, 1996 issued in G.O.Ms.No.436 GA (Ser.D) Department dt.15^th October 1996 and as subsequently amended from time to time.

2. The amendments hereby made shall come into force with immediate effect.

AMENDMENT

In the said rules:-

(i) In Rule 23 the following proviso shall be added namely: -

 

“Provided also that a member of service may submit a revision petition against the order of the Appellate Authority, within three months of the order passed by the Appellate Authority, to the Government.”

(ii) in rule 26, after sub-rule (d) the following shall be added, namely: -

 “(e) A member of service may submit a revision petition against the order of the Appellate Authority, within three months of the orders passed by the Appellate Authority, to the Government”.
