In the reference cited. instructions were
issued indicating the procedure for redrawal of the amount owing to loss
through misappropriation, defalcation, embezzlement etc. However, it is noticed
that no follow up action is taken up for the settlement of lost monies after
redrawal of amounts is permitted by Government. The Sanctioning Authorities
were informed that in most of the cases no action is being taken for settlement
of the cases after redrawal of the amounts and requested to follow the
instructions.
2. Hence, all the Secretariat Departments, Collectors and
Head of Departments are hereby requested to follow the above-mentioned
instructions scrupulously in settling the cases of loss, fraud etc.
