of Earned Leave / Privilege Leave - Encashment during the financial year
1989-90 - Further Instructions - Issued.

In
the Government Memo. cited, instructions were issued to regulate the sanction
for encashment of leave to various categories, as follows:

2. Some of the
Non-Gazetted Officers & Gazetted Officers, whose date of retirement falls
prior to the months in which they can encash the leave as per the instructions
cited, have represented that they may be allowed to encash the leave earlier,
otherwise they will be deprived of the facility due to their retirement, before
the period mentioned above.
3. This matter has
been examined carefully and it is considered that such persons may be allowed
to encash the leave, if they so desire, before the period mentioned in the
Memo, cited, if they happen to retire before that period.
4. Action may be
taken accordingly.
