ORDER
The
High-Power Committee headed by Sri A.V.S. Reddy, I.AS., Principal Secretary lo
Government, P.R., R.D. & R. Department considered the representation of the
Joint Action Committee of Employees etc. and recommended that the Principal
Office Bearers of all recognised service associations on the roll or the Andhra
Pradesh Civil Services Joint Staff Council, Departmental Joint Staff Councils.
Gazetted Joint Staff Councils may be permitted to avail themselves of 21 days
Special Casual Leave in a year. Accordingly, orders were issued in the G.O. 1st
read abo.ve, directing that the Principal Office Bearers of all recognised
Service Associations on the role of A.P. Civil Services Joint Staff Council,
Departmental Joint Staff Councils, Gazetted Joint Staff Councils be permitted to
avail themselves of 21 days Special Casual Leave in a Calendar year.
2. In the reference
2nd read above, the President, A.P. Non-Gazetted Officers
Association has inter-alia, requested the Government for sanction of 21 days
Special Casual Leave lo the Office bearers at Stale Level, District Level and
Taluk Level also, in view of the increasing workload in the Association.
3. The Government,
after careful consideration, decided to extend the benefit of Special Casual Leve
for 21 days in a Calendar year to the Principal Office Bearers (viz.,
President/Secretary) of all recognised Service Associations at District level
also, subject to the condition that the Principal Office Bearers of
Associations will be entitled of this benefit, if they motivate the staff to do
their work, in addition to attending their union work.
4. Accordingly, the
following amendment is issued to the G.O. first read above.
AMENDMENT
After
para (6) of the G.O.Ms.No. 470, G.A. (S.W) Dept., dated 16-9-1994, the
following shall be added, as para (7)
"7.
The benefit of 21 days Special Casual Leave in a Calendar year shall also be
extended to the Principal Office Bearers (viz., President / Secretary) of all
Recognised Service Associations at the District Level, subject to the condition
that the Principal Office Bearers of Associations will be entitled for this
benefit if they motivate the staff to do their work, in addition to attending
their union work."
