ORDER:
In
the G.O.1st read above; orders were issued enhancing the maximum
limit of encashment of PL / EL at the credit of a government servant on the
date of retirement from 120 days to 180 days.
2. In the O.M.
second cited, the Government of India have issued orders permitting encashment
of on-utilised E.L. as on the date of retirement up to maximum of 240 days with
effect from 1.7.86.
3. Tile AP. Secretariat
officers Association in their representation 3rd read above has requested that
the State Government Employees may also be given the benefit of encashment of
E.L. / PL on retirement from service at 240 days as in the case of Central
Government and also A.LS. officers.
4. Government after
careful consideration of the request of the AP. Secretariat Officers
Association hereby order that the maximum limit of encashment of P.L. / E.L. at
the credit of a Government servant on the date of retirement shall be enhanced
from 180 to 240 days.
5. These orders
shall come into force with effect from 31.3.1990, the date on which gratuity
has been enhanced.
