The
attention of the Director of Local Fund Audit, A.P., Hyderabad is invited to
his letter cited on the above subject and he is informed that as per the subsequent
orders issued vide G.O.Ms.No.234, Fin. & Plg. Dept., Dt. 27-10-99 read with
Govt. Memo No.49578/905/F.R.I/A2/98, dt. 23-2-99 (Copies enclosed for ready reference)
the benefit of encashment of half pay leave is limited to the State Government
employees who die while in service only but not to others.
