From the Government of India Ministry of Finance, Bureau of Public Enterprise, New Delhi 0.M.No. 2(201)/69/HPE(GH) dt.4-12-1969.

ORDER:
In the Office Memorandum cited, Government of India have taken decision that the Public Enterprises should, in respect of the deputationist, who opt for absorption in an Enterprise, take over the liability in regard to leave on average pay / earned leave that the optee has to his credit at the time of leaving Government service, and in return the Government should pay to the Public Enterprise a lumpsum equal to leave salary for the leave on average pay / earned leave due to Government servant on the date of his permanent absorption in the Public Undertaking.
 
2.     This State Government have, after careful consideration decided to adopt the above-mentioned decision of the Government of India and to allow the transfer of leave to the account of the State Government employees in the Undertakings in which they are absorbed permanently as done in the Government of India.
 
3.         The above benefit will be admissible also to cases which are pending on the date of this order.
