ORDER
Consequent on the issue of adhoc rule in the G.O. 2nd
read above, the minimum period of ordinarily five years qualifying service
prescribed in rule 4 (2) of Andhra Pradesh Ministerial Service was reduced lo
ordinarily 3 years by issuing an amendment in the G.O. 3rd read
above. The Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers' Association in their representation
4th read above has requested for deletion of rules 5(3) and 5(5)
which prescribe five years qualifying service for promotion of Stenographers
and urged for common application of rule 4(2) of A.P.M.S. for all promotions in
A.P Ministerial Services to maintain uniformity.
The Government after careful examination consider
that there is no need to provide a separate rule for promotion of Stenographers
and decided to apply rule 4(2) of Andhra Pradesh Ministerial Services in their
cases also.
Accordingly,
the following Notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
