AP., Hyderabad Lr.No. 21224/95/CPE/A3, dt.3-2-1997. 4. Repn. of JAC of Proh & Excise Employees Association, dt.15-4- 1997.@@@@@O R D E R: In the reference 1st read above the Chairman, Joint Action Committee of Prohibition and Excise Employees Association represented that, the post of Excise Constable be declared as Superior service for the reason that the maximum of the scale of pay attached to the post of Excise Constables is higher than the last grade service.
2. In the reference 3rd read above, the commissioner of prohibition and Excise recommended the above proposals for issue of amendment to the relevant rules.
3. The Government after careful examination of the proposal hereby decide to declare the post of Excise Constable in prohibition and Excise Department as Superior Service in the existing scale of pay of Rs.1535-30-1625-40-1825-50-2075-60-2375-75-2750-90-2840 with immediate effect.
4. The Finance and Planning (FW) Department shall issue necessary amendments to Fundamental Rules.
5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance and Planning (FW-FR-1) Department, Vide their U.O.No.1626/179/ Al/FR-1/97, dt. 29-4-1997.
