ORDER:

In the reference 4th read above orders have been issued providing employment to the son or a daughter or spouse of any person killed in extremist violence and the Collectors have been authorised to issue orders. They were also authorised to grant relaxation of age on case-to-case basis.

2. After further examination of the matter, Government have decided to issue the following relaxations in the appointment of a son/daughter/spouse of a person killed in extremist violence.


1. A minimum period of 3 years to acquire Intermediate qualification and 5 years for acquisition of Degree qualification be allowed to the son/ daughter/ spouse of the deceased appointed to the post of Junior Assistant in the Subordinate offices and Heads of Departments respectively provided they possess atleast X Class and Intermediate qualifications respectively. The period should be reckoned from the date of appointment as contemplated in para 2 (VII) and (VIII) of the G.O.Ms.No. 612 General Administration (Ser.A) Department Dated 30.10.1991. read with G.O.Ms.No.577 General Administration (Ser.A) Department dl. 29.10.1993 G.O.Ms.No.76 General Administration (Ser.A) Department Dated 15.3.1995 and G.O.Ms.No.969, General Administration (Ser.A) Department dl. 27-10-1995.

 

2. In case of a minor, he can seek relief within a reasonable time which will be two years from the date of the demise of the bread winner as stipulated in Govt. Memo. No. 619/Ser.A/78-11 General Administration Department dt. 17.12.1979. If the spouse of the deceased is such a dependent and is seeking compassionate appointment the upper age can be relaxed as contemplated in Govt.Memo.No.1094/Ser.A/92-1 General Administration Department dt. 23.12.1992.

 

3. The upper age/educational qualification may be relaxed when a son/ daughter/ spouse of a person killed in the extremist violence is seeking employment in the category of Class IV.

 

4. As there is no provision in the A.P. General Subordinate Service Rules for direct recruitment to the post of Record Assistant, no appointment can be made to the post of Record Assistant as clarified in Govt. Memo.No. 536/Ser.A/96-1 General Administration Department dl. 9.10.1996.
