The
following Notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette:
NOTIFICATION
In
exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution
of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Andhra
Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Civil
Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964 issued in G.O.Ms.No:468, General Administration
(Services-C) Department, dated: the 17th April, 1964 as subsequently amended
from time to time.
AMENDMENT
In
the said rules, for rule 14, the following shall be substituted, namely," Communication
of Official Information. - Every Government servant shall, in performance of
his duties in good faith, communicate to a member of public or any
organization full and accurate information which can be disclosed under the Right
to Information Act, 2005 (Central Act 22 of 2005).
Explanation: Nothing in this rule shall be construed as permitting communication of classified information in an unauthorized manner or for improper gains to a Government servant or other".
