Read the following:
1. G.O. Ms. No. 44, G.A. (Ser. A) Department, Dt:
17-02-2003.
2. G.O. Ms. No. 144, P.R. & RD (Mdl. II) Department,
Dt: 01-05-2003.
3. G.O. Ms. No. 198, G.A. (Ser. A) Department, Dt:
04-07-2003.
In the G.O. first read above, orders were
issued accepting the recommendations of the Cabinet Sub Committee on Service
Matters to consider appointments on contract basis to the post of Panchayat
Secretaries with a Basic Pay of Rs. 2,870/- + H.R.A. + D.A. to the dependents
of Government Employees who retired on Medical Invalidation before issue of
G.O. Ms. No. 202, General Administration (Ser. A) Department, Dated:
27-04-2002.
2. In the G.O. second read above, orders were
issued prescribing the terms and conditions for contract appointments to the
dependents of Government Employees who retired on Medical Invalidation before
27-04-2002.
3. In the G.O. third read above, orders were
issued on the request of Joint Action Committee of Employees, Teachers and
Workers, Andhra Pradesh to consider the cases of dependents of Government
Employees who retired on Medical Invalidation before 27-04-2002 as per the
procedure prescribed and who possess 10th Class Academic
Qualification only, be considered for appointment to the post of Executive
Officer, Special Category-V (Panchayat Secretary) on contract basis in
relaxation of Academic Qualification of intermediate as per orders issued in
the G.O. second read above.
4. Government after careful consideration of
the matter and in view of the orders issued in the reference third read above,
hereby relax the condition of Educational Qualification and prescribe l 0th
Class Academic Qualification only to consider for appointment to the post of
Executive Officer, Special Category-V (Panchayat Secretary) on contract basis
in relaxation of the earlier orders issued in the G.O second read above.
5. The Commissioner, Panchayat Raj and Rural
Employment shall be consulted for any clarification in the implementation of
these orders.
6. All the Collectors and District
Magis1rates / All the Chief Executive Officers, Zilla Parishads / All the
District Panchayat Officers are requested to take necessary further action
immediately.
