ORDER:
According
to the orders issued in the G.O. 1st as amended in G.O. 2nd
read above, a government employee proceeding on Half Pay leave is entitled to
leave salary to half of the Pay drawn immediately before proceeding on such
half pay leave and Dearness Allowance corresponding to such half pay.
Government have reached an agreement with the Employees' Associations on
17-12-1993 and among other things, it was agreed to allow full Dearness
Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other allowances on half pay leave for
those drawing up to the scale of Rs. 3110-6380 and this will be effective from
the date of issue of orders.

According to the orders in existence, the employees will get House Rent
Allowance and other Allowances in full during the period of half pay leave
except Dearness Allowance which will be paid proportionate to the pay. So only
the payment of Dearness Allowance in full has to be restored in the light of
the Agreement referred to above.

Accordingly, Government hereby order that Dearness Allowance shall be paid in
full during the period of half pay leave to the employees drawing pay in the
scale of pay up to and inclusive of Rs. 3110-6380. These orders will come into
force with immediate effect.
