ORDER:
In the Govt. Order 1st read above, certain instructions have been issued to be followed in the cases relating to compassionate appointments to the dependants of Govt. employees who retire on medical invalidation.
2. In the Govt. Memo. 2nd read above, the Government have issued clarification that unless the orders issued in the G.O. 1st read above, have been adopted and made applicable to the employees of the Municipal Corporations / municipalities in the State, to the extent necessary to the context of these orders as per the service conditions of these employees by issuing a separate order, these orders are not applicable to the employees of the Municipalities/Municipal Corporations automatically.
3. In the ref. 3rd read above, the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration has requested the Government to extend the order issued in the G.O. 1st read above, to the employees of Municipal Corporations and Municipalities, so as to have a uniform procedure on par with Government employees.
4. The Government after careful examination, hereby extend the orders issued in G.O. Ms. No. 214, G.A. (Ser.A) Department, dated 9.6.98, to the employees of all the Municipalities and Municipal Corporations in the State (including teaching staff in Municipalities / Municipal Corporations) with effect from 9.6.1998.
