ORDER
The
President, A.P.N.G.Os' Association in his letter 2nd read above has
stated that as per the call given by the
All India State Government Employees
Federation, certain Government employees have participated in the Strike
/ Bandh on 11-5-2000 by abstaining
themselves from official duties. But Government in the G.O. 2nd read above
issued directions to the authorities concerned to grant leave as per
eligibility on 11-5-2000 to those employees who could not attend office due to
non-availability of conveyance on that date. But the regularisation of the
period of absence of those employees who participated in the Strike / Bandh on
11-5-2000 is still pending since then.
2. Hence he has requested
the Government to issue orders treating the period of absence of those
employees who participated in the Bandh / Strike on 11-5-2000 as Special Casual
Leave.
3. Government after
examining the matter carefully direct the appropriate authorities to treat the
absence of those employees who have participated in the Bandh / Strike on
11-5-2000 as Special Casual Leave in view of the Bandh / Strike call given by
the All-India State Government Employees Federation.
4. All the Heads of
Departments / District Collectors and other subordinate officers are requested
to take necessary action accordingly.
