The Scheme of Compassionate Appointment to
the· dependents of Govt. Employees who retired on Medical Invalidation was
dispensed with in the references first to third cited. In the G.O. 4th
cited. orders were issued to consider the dependents of Govt. Employees who
retired on Medical Invalidation before 27-04-2002 for appointment to the post
of Panchayat Secy. Category-VI on Contract Basis,
2. In all deserving cases, orders were issued
for appointment to the post of Panchayat Secretary on Contract Basis, based on
the proposals received from the District Collectors concerned. Some of the
District Collectors are forwarding the proposals for issue of orders to
consider the appointments to the dependents of the Government Employees who
retired on Medical Invalidation for appointment to the post of Panchayat
Secretary on Contract Basis. The Scheme is dispensed with two years ago and
still the District Collectors are referring the cases to the Government. The
Government decided not to consider any of the requests for appointment to the
post of Panchayat Secretary on Contract Basis to the dependents of the
Government Employees who retired on Medical Invalidation and the District
Collectors are directed not to refer the proposals in such cases in future.
