Ref: 1. D.O. Letter No. 347 /Ser.A / 96-1, Genl. admn. (Ser.A) Dept., dt. 31-7-1996 addressed to all Secretaries to Government.

         2. D.O.Letter No. 347 /Ser.A / 96-2, Genl. Admn. (Ser.A) Dept., dt. 31-7-96 addressedto all District Collectors and copied to all Heads of Departments.

The attention of all the Departments of Secretariat is invited to the references cited. While issuing certain instructions in the Government Memo. last cited, it has also been requested at Para 4 of the Government Memo last cited that all the Departments of Secretariat shall remit all those proposals of compassionate appointments to the dependents of Government employees who retire on medical invalidation that were received by them from their respective Heads of Departments, District Collectors, etc. remitted back them for further action at their end.
 
2. It has come to the notice of Government that despite these instructions issued in Government Memo. 3rd cited, many proposals/applications have not been returned to the concerned Heads of Departments, District Collectors, etc., and there is considerable delay.
 
3. While reiterating the instructions issued in the Government Memo 3rd cited, all the Departments, of Secretariat are requested that all those proposals of compassionate appointments to the dependents of Government employees who retire on medical invalidation that were received by them form their respective Heads of Departments, District Collectors, etc., in pursuance of the instructions issued in the D.O. Letters first and second cited, shall be remitted back immediately to their respective Heads of Departments, District Collectors, etc., for further action at their end in accordance with the instructions issued in the Government Memo 3rd cited.
