In the
Government Memo 2nd cited, Government have permitted the Junior
Lecturers to avail the Casual Leaves from the year 2008 on Calendar year basis
as provided in the Leave Rules.
2. The Government Colleges Contract
Lecturers Association, Intermediate Education Department in the reference 3rd
cited has requested the Government to allow casual leave to the contract Junior
Lecturers working in the Government Junior Colleges on par with the regular
Junior Lecturers in terms of the orders issued in the Memo 2nd cited
and to issue appropriate orders in the matter.
3. The Government after careful
consideration, hereby permit the commissioner of Intermediate Education /
Commissioner of Collegiate Education to allow 1 day Casual Leave per month of
actual contractual service on full remuneration with a facility of accumulating
and availing a maximum of 3 days casual leave at a time to the Contract Junior
Lecturers / Lecturers working in the Government Junior / Degree Colleges in the
State.
4. The Commissioner of Intermediate
Education, AP. and the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Andhra Pradesh are
requested to take further action in the matter accordingly.
