Sub: Cooperation Department - Proper mentioning of nomenclature of Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act - Reg.

It has been observed that while referring to Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act, 1964, District Cooperative Officers as well as. the Section Assistants of the Head Office are writing as follows.

"Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act 7 of 1964".

It is not a correct way of writing. The correct nomenclature is "Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act, 1964" (Act 7 of 1964). However, in regular usage, "Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act, 1964" or APCS Act, 1964 is enough.

All the Districts Cooperative Officers. and Sections in the Head Office are requested to take necessary action accordingly and see the correct 11ornenclature is used in all future correspondence.
