Attention of all the Deputy Directors of District Treasuries in the State is invited to the references cited. The Government vide ref 6^th cited have issued the following clarification on sanction of special leave in terms of G.O. Ms. No. 29, dated:09.03.2011 of Finance (FR.I) Department:

"The orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.386, Finance & Planning (FW.FR.I) dept., dt. 6-9-1976 and G.O.Ms.No.20, Finance & Planning (FR.I) Dept., dt. 25-1-1977 were extended in G.O.Ms.No.29, dated.09.03.2011. In the said G.Os., orders were issued for drawl of full pay to the extent of six months, in lieu of six months half pay leave, if at credit, by all regular Government servants, who are suffering from Leprosy/Tuberculosis/Cancer/Heart diseases and Mental illness and Renal (Kidney) failure. As such, the same was extended to eight months in the G.O.Ms.No.29, dated.09.03.2011. Hence, whatever orders were being implemented in the above two G.Os are to be implemented vide the instant G.O. also but the difference is, period was enhanced to eight months".

In view of the above, all the Deputy Directors of District Treasuries in the State are requested to take necessary action accordingly.
