O R D E R:
The following notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following Special Rules in supersession of the Adhoc Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No. 109, Law, dated 18-5-1982, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following Special Rules for the Andhra Pradesh Advocate General’s Gazetted Establishment Service Rules. 

SPECIAL RULES

1. Short title:

These rules may be called the Andhra Pradesh Advocate General’s Gazetted Establishment Service Rules.

2. Constitution:

The Service shall consist of the post of Private Secretary to Advocate General including Private Secretary to Additional Advocate General.

3. Method of appointment and appointing authority:

Subject to the other provisions in these rules, the method of appointment and appointing authority for the category of Private Secretary to Advocate General and Private Secretary to Additional Advocate General shall be as follows:-

i)Appointment by transfer of Special Category Steno. In the Andhra Pradesh Ministerial Service in the offices of the Advocate General & Additional Advocate General.

ii) If no qualified and suitable candidate is available by the above method , by transfer/by deputation on tenure basis of P.A. to the Judges in the A.P. High Court Service.

4. Minimum Service:

No person shall be eligible for appointment by transfer or on promotion unless he has put in not less than three years of service in the category from which appointment by transfer is made.

5. Probation:

Every person appointed by transfer shall, from the date on which he commences probation be on probation for a total period of one year on duty within a continuous period of two years.
