ORDER:
The One-Man Services Rules
Commission while observing that there should be more direct recruits since
their overall intake has been very low, has recommended that the ideal ratio
could be 50:50, but due to special circumstances it would be reasonable to
earmark atleast 30% of posts for direct recruitment.
2. The Government, keeping in view the percentages already
prescribed for different posts for which direct recruitment has been provided
in the State and Subordinate Services, have after examination accepted the
recommendation. Accordingly, the Government direct that. in respect of the
posts in the State and Subordinate Services where the percentage earmarked for
direct recruitment falls short of 30%, it be increased at least to 30% as recommended
by the One-Man Services Rules Commission.
3. All Departments of the Secretariat are requested to amend the
special rules / Adhoc rules with which they are concerned accordingly in
consultation with the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission.
