ABSTRACT

Andhra Pradesh Departmental Tests Rules, 1965 - Amendment to Rule 14 in Annexure - II to the Note appended to the Second Class / Third Class Language Tests - Orders - Issued.

ORDER:

In the G.O. 1st read above, the Andhra Pradesh Departmental tests Rules, 1965 were issued along with the Language Tests and Translation Tests.

2. In the reference second read above, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission requested the Government to issue necessary amendments to the Departmental Tests of Second Class/ Third Class Language Tests and Translation Tests in Annexure-11 of the Andhra Pradesh Departmental Tests Rules, 1965, so as to make the candidates to put in more effort to pass the tests and improve their proficiency in the languages.

3. The Government after careful examination have accepted the proposal of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission and hereby makes the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Departmental Tests Rules, 1965, issued in G.O.Ms.No.1397, General Administration (Rules) Department, dated 24.07.1965 as subsequently amended from time to time.

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, in rule 14, in Annexure-II, under the heading the Second Class Language Tests for the Note the following shall be substituted: namely:-

 

"Note:  (l) Candidate should pass all the parts at a time.

(2) Unless a candidate qualified in the written examination, he will not be entitled to appear for the viva-voce tests".

(II) Under the heading "36 Third Class Language Test" for the N.B., the following shall be substituted; namely:-

"N. B: Candidates should pass all the Parts at a time".

(III) "Under the heading 38 Translation Test" for the words "Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, Urdu, Hindi and Marathi" the words "Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil and Urdu" shall be substituted.
