In the G.O. first read above, the Andhra Pradesh Departmental Tests Rules, 1965 were issued along with the syllabus.
2. In the reference second read above, the Government have accorded permission for publishing the results of the Departmental Tests in "Udyoga Samacharam". In the reference fifth read above, the Commission has brought to the notice of the Government that some of the Unit Officers are not accepting the results published in Udyoga Samacharam and insisting for Gazette Publication for releasing increments or declaration of probation or promotion etc. Even though the Government have issued instructions from time to time, for acceptance of Udyoga Samacharam, many candidates are still deprived of their benefits even though they passed their tests. The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission have proposed to publish the Departmental Tests Result in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette in addition to publishing the same in Udyoga Samacharam by suitably amending the said Rules.
3. The Government after careful examination have accepted the proposal of the Commission and hereby make the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Departmental Tests Rules, 1965, issued in G.O. Ms. No. 1397, General Administration (Rules) Department, dated 24-07-1965 suitably.
AMENDMENT
In the said Rules, in Rule 6, the following note shall be added, namely:
NOTE: "The Departmental Tests Results will also be published in Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission's "Udyoga Samacharam" in addition to the publication in Andhra Pradesh Gazette, which would be considered as authentic publication for extending all benefits to the candidates who are provisionally declared to have passed the Tests".
