ORDER:

Government decided to fill-up certain vacant posts in various categories in different departments as per the requirement. Accordingly, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission and other recruiting agencies have been requested to conduct recruitment vide the references 1st to 5th read above.

2. In the G.O. 6th and 7th read above, an ad-hoc rule was issued raising the upper age limit from 34 years to 38 years for direct recruitment to various categories of posts, except to the posts in uniformed services of Police, Excise, Fire, Prisons and Forest Departments.

3. Government have decided that it is necessary to relax the upper age limit for direct recruitment to various categories of posts of Uniformed Services also, to enable more unemployed youth to be eligible to compete in the recruitment process. Accordingly, the following Ad-hoc Rule is issued to raise the upper age limit up to 30 years for direct recruitment to the Uniformed Services.

4. Accordingly, the following Notification shall be published in the AP. Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following ad-hoc rule.

AD-HOC RULE

Notwithstanding anything contained in the AP. State and Sub-Ordinate Service Rules or in the Special Rules or in the Adhoc Rules for any State Service or Subordinate Service, the maximum age limit shall be raised up to 30 years for direct recruitment to various categories of posts of Uniformed Services of Police, Excise, Fire, Prisons and Forest Departments notified / to be notified by the concerned recruiting agencies.
