Sub: PUBLIC SERVICES- Creation of Special Grade Post for employees who have completed 10 years of service and Special Promotion post / Special Adhoc Promotion post for employees who have completed 15 years of service- Further clarification-Issued.
2. According to the clarification issued vide Memo 2nd cited (against item No.9) the date of admissibility of next increment to those appointed to the Special Grade/Special Promotion post / Special Adhoc Promotion post on 1-4-1981 shall be the date on which the increment would have accrued had he, continued in the old scale of pay. This however was applicable to those appointed to Special Grade Post / Special Promotion Post on 1-4-1981. Those appointed after 1-4-1981 on completion of 10 / 15 years service were being allowed next increment after the expiry of one year from the date of appointment.
3. Government have reviewed the pos,ition and direc! that ,m appointment to Special Grade / Special Promotion post / Special Adhoc Promotion post, the pay of employees shall be regulated under F.R. 22 (a) (i) read with F,.R. 31 (2). This will be deemed to have come into force from 1-4-1981.
4. All the Departments of Secretariat, Heads of
Departments are requested to bring the above clarification to the notice of
their subordinate offices for information and guidance.
