In the reference first cited, Government issued orders amending rule 14 in Annexure-11 of the Departmental Tests Rules, 1965, Stipulating that in respect of Second-Class Language Test.


1) Candidate should pass all the parts at a time; and

 

2) Unless a candidate qualified in the written examination, he / she will not be entitled to appear for the vivo voce tests".

2. In the reference second cited Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission suggested to extend the opportunity of passing the Second-Class Languages Test and Third-Class Language Test in Parts A, B, C and D separately to November 2002 session only; and for those candidates who have already appeared but could not pass, the total test as a onetime measure.

3. The proposal of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has been examined and Government accept the proposal of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission referred to in para 2 above. The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission shall take action accordingly.

4. The Departments of Secretariat, the Heads of Departments and the District Collectors are requested to bring to the notice of all concerned Departments for information & necessary action.
