Disciplinary Cases - Certain Instructions - Issued.
The
Chairman, Commissionerate of Inquiries, General Administration Department,
while giving his findings in certain disciplinary case, has suggested that it
should be ensured that disciplinary action is not initiated by the Head of the
Department, against its Officers, with vexatious motives and that the
Disciplinary Authority shall carefully evaluate the grounds and reasons
required in the draft charge memo. at the stage of finalisation of charges.
2. The Principal Chief Conservator of
Forests, A.P., Hyderabad and the Director General and Inspector General of
Police, A.P., Hyderabad are requested to keep the above suggestion in view
while framing charges/sending proposals to Government to frame charges, against
the I.F.S./I.P.S./Non-Cadre Officers of their Departments in future. These
instructions may be brought to the notice of the Subordinate
Offices/Disciplinary Authorities under their Administrative Control for strict
compliance.
3. All the other Heads of Departments are
also requested to adhere to the above instructions and issue similar
instructions to the Subordinate Offices/Disciplinary Authorities under their
Administrative Control.
