per the scheme of compassionate appointment to the dependents of deceased
Government Employees the dependent married daughter may be considered for
compassionate appointment when the deceased employee was having only a married
daughter and the spouse is not willing to avail the compassionate appointment
or the spouse is not eligible for compassionate appointment.

In the reference 5th cited the President, Andhra Pradesh
Non-Gazetted Officer's Association has requested for a clarification whether
the compassionate appointment may be considered to one of the dependent married
daughters when the deceased government employee was having married daughters
more than one.

It is clarified that the policy of the Government is to provide compassionate appointment
to the dependents of deceased government employees to help the family in
distress and accordingly if the deceased government employee was having more
than one dependent married daughter and when the spouse of, the deceased government
employee .is not willing to avail the compassionate appointment, one of the
dependent married daughters may be considered for compassionate
appointment, subject to eligibility as per the scheme of compassionate appointment.
