ORDER:

In pursuance of the orders issued in the G.O. first read above, Departmental Promotion Committees were first constituted in 1985, to consider the proposals for promotion to the Heads of Departments (Non-Cadre) level posts, fourth level Gazetted and above posts; and, third level Gazetted posts in the state. Thereafter, they were reconstituted from time to time. They were last reconstituted in the G.O. second read above.

 

2. Now, consequent on changes in the constitution of Departmental Promotion Committees / Screening Committees, in the G.O. third read above, a necessity has arisen for their reconstitution.

 

3. Accordingly, Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby order reconstitution of the Departmental Promotion Committees / Screening Committees, with a term of office up to 30.11.2006, as follows:
