ORDER:
In the
reference 2nd read above, the Chairman, Struggle Committee of
Central, State Government, Public Sector Employees Teachers & Workers,
Hyderabad has served a strike notice on behalf of A.P. State Government
Employees, Teachers including Public Sector Undertakings, Panchayat, Board
& Corporation Employees etc. to participate in the Nation-Wide general
strike on 30.10.2007 to show solidarity with all working class of the country
against anti-employee policies of Central Government
2. In the reference 3rd read above, the
Government have ordered that “No work - No pay" policy has to be strictly
adopted and any type of leave should not be sanctioned to the Government
Employees, Teachers, Workers etc. who request for sanction of leave to
participate in the strike on 30.10.2007.
3. The Chairman, Joint Action Committee
of Employees Teachers & Workers Andhra Pradesh, in the reference 4th read
above has requested the Government to treat the absence of employees on one day
strike i.e. on 30.10.2007 as Special
Casual leave and also to pay salary to the employees for that day.
4. The Government after careful
examination of the matter, hereby direct the appropriate authorities to
sanction leave on 30.10.2007 subject to eligibility and availability of leave
to the credit of employees, those employees, Teachers & Workers who have
participated in the nationwide general strike on 30.10.2007 absenting
themselves from official duties.
5. All the Heads of Departments / District
Collectors and other Subordinate Officers are requested to take necessary
action accordingly.
