ORDER:
In the G.O fourth read above, orders were issued reconstituting a common District Selection Committee for recruitment to the posts both in Government Departments and Panchayathi Raj Bodies in the District with the following officers, namely: -
1) The District
Collector - Chairman
2) The Joint
Collector - Member
3) The District
Development Officer - Member
2. In the G.O. ninth read above, while according Permission to the District Selection Committees to take up limited recruitment to the backlog vacancies of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and carry forward vacancies of Physically Handicapped persons as well as general recruitment also to the posts in Group-IV Services in the District Subordinate Officers, it has been indicated that the following posts in Group-IV Services (other than the posts in the Offices of Heads of Departments, Secretariat Departments, Pand1ayati raj Bodies and Andhra Pradesh Judicial Ministerial Services) in Subordinate Offices are and under the purview of District Selection Committees reconstituted in G.O. first read above:-
1) Junior Assistants,
Junior Auditors, Junior/L.D. Accountants in all Offices.
2) Typists and Junior
Stenographers of L.D. cadre in all offices.
3) Security Clerks.
4) Librarians and
Assistant Librarians.
5) Cash keepers
6) Stewards.
7) Assistant
Stewards.
8) Line Keepers.
9) Laundry Supervisors.
3. The Government had an occasion to review the said all orders whether the issue of taking up of the recruitment to the posts mentioned in para (2) above in Panchayati raj Bodies also can be considered by the District Selection Committees. Since the Services of Panchayati Raj employees have been provincialised and the posts of common categories like Junior Assistants, Junior Auditors, LD. Accountants, Junior Stenographers etc., and also the posts referred to in para (2) above in Panchayati Raj Bodies are now governed by Andhra Pradesh Ministerial Services Rules. Government after careful examination decided to bring the posts in Group-IV Services mention at para (2) above in Panchayati Raj Bodies also under the purview of the District Selection Committees constituted in the G.O. fourth read above and activised in the G.Os. ninth and tenth read above. Accordingly, Government order that the posts in Group - IV Services mentioned at para (2) above in Panchayati Raj Bodies shall also he under the purview of the District Selection Committees constituted in G.O. fourth read above: and activised in G.Os. ninth and tenth read above.
4. Government permit the District Selection Committees to take up limited recruitment to hack log vacancies of Scheduled castes / Scheduled Tribes and Carry forward vacancies of Physically Handicapped persons as well as general recruitment to the posts of Group-IV Services in Panchayati Raj Bodies also in addition to the posts in Group-IV Services in the District Sub-Ordinate Offices as ordered in G.Os ninth and tenth read above.
5. The Commissioner of Land Revenue, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad is also permitted to take up limited recruitment to backlog vacancies of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes to the posts in Group-IV Services in Panchayati Raj Bodies also through the District Selection committees along with the limited recruitment already notified through his notification fourteenth read above, without further notification.
