ORDER: -
In the G.O. thirteenth read above orders were issued launching Special direct Recruitment Drive to fill-up the backlog vacancies reserved for the persons with Disabilities in various Departments by the end of August 2002 strictly in accordance with the trifurcation of 3% reservation among the Disability and as per recruitment rules prescribed for the posts. These instructions shall apply only to fill-up the backlog vacancies in terms of rule 22 of A.P. State & Subordinate Service Rules and not for recruitment against all regular vacancies.
2. Accordingly, the District Collectors are hereby authorised for issue of Notification at the District Level for recruitment for filling up of back-log vacancies of Physically Handicapped persons with Disabilities, in Group-IV Services under the purview of District Selection Committees and the vacancies shall be filled by the end of August 2002.
3. The Special Chief Secretary to Government and Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Andhra Pradesh shall prepare a common specimen/ model notification form, keeping in view the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.115, Women's Development Child Welfare and Labour (WH. Desk) Department, dated 30.07.1991 on percentage of reservations prescribed for handicapped persons Viz., one percent each to Blind, Deaf/Dumb and Orthopaedically handicapped and communicate to the District Collectors for the purpose of uniformity.
4. These orders are applicable only to the recruitment to fill-up
the backlog vacancies of Physically Handicapped Persons with disabilities, in
Group-IV Services in the District Subordinate offices, under the purview of
District Selection Committees.
