Sub: Disabled Welfare - Launching of Special Drive for filling up of the backlog vacancies reserved for the persons with disabilities in various departments - Reg.

The attention of the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Hyderabad is invited to the reference cited and he is informed that the following defects have been noticed in the Model Notification form issued, and they shall be rectified as indicated below:

 

i) The category indicated at item (a) under Rule 2 "Junior Assistants / Junior Auditors" is not correct. There is no post of Junior Auditor in A.P. Treasuries & Accounts Subordinate Service. It is Junior Accountant in the A.P. Treasuries and Accounts Subordinate Service. Therefore, it should be indicated as Junior Assistant in A.P. Ministerial Service and Junior Accountant in A.P. Treasuries & Accounts Subordinate Service.

 

ii) The qualifications for the post of Junior Assistant are as mentioned in A.P. Ministerial Service Rules. For the post of Junior Accountant, the qualifications are as prescribed in A.P. Treasuries & Accounts Subordinate Service Rules. Therefore, the qualifications for these posts should be indicated separately in the model notification form.

 

iii) Under Rule 3 "Age" in the model notification fom1, it is mentioned that the applicant should not have completed 34+10 = 44 years of age as on 01.05.2002.

2. In G.O.Ms.No.426, General Administration (Ser.A) Department, dated 07.11.2001, orders were issued rescinding the adhoc rule, wherein six years age concession was provided. As per Rule 12 of A.P. State & Subordinate Service Rules, the maximum age limit prescribed for direct recruitment is 28 years of age as on the first day of July of the year in which the notification for recruitment was issued. Such age limit should be raised uniformly by 10 years in the case of Physically Handicapped persons.

3. Therefore, the age limits mentioned under rule 3 in the model notification form should be modified as stated above.

4. The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration is requested to recast the model notification form and issue expeditiously also with any other omissions if any noticed.
